A thriving workforce is the backbone of a strong community driving both economic growth and stability. Communities thrive with skilled workers, leading to boosted consumer activity, higher tax revenues, and better infrastructure. A robust workforce fuels innovation and entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for both personal achievement and collective success.
We are currently in the midst of a $74 million campaign to build the Northland Workforce Development Center which will serve as a hub for both student and adult learners. Every week employers in the region express their urgent need for skilled workers. We also reconnect with former students who are thriving personally and financially as skilled workers. The new center will provide us with the opportunity to nurture more skilled workers and establish a much needed robust pipeline for area employers.
